It's sad when your wife leaves you. It's real sad. It's super damn sad!
Or, as John Edwards said in a statement after his wife Elizabeth announced their official separation:
"It is an extraordinarily sad moment, but I love my children more than anything and still care deeply about Elizabeth."
I say, Sir, are you feeling sad?
Indeed I am, Sir, thanks for asking.
How sad are you feeling, Sir?
I'm feeling extraordinarily sad!
Well I'm most especially sorry to hear that, Sir.
Thank you, sir. It's exquisitely kind of you to say so.
And so on ....
He's sad his wife is leaving him, but apparently, he's not sad he decided to schtupp the trashy videographer.

Whenver anybody searches for "John Edwards" and "schtupp," they'll come to this item instantly.
That's SEO gold.

He should have thought about how sad he'd be when he was schtupping the trashy videographer. No, on second thought, he should have thought about how sad his wife and children would be. But then, they never think of that until it's time to make stupid statements like this one.
