If only my new year was a big blank. It has some big stuff in it - and some of it ain't pretty.

I'm with Rueben. Given my schedule lately, all those blank days look so beautiful to me, like little baby children waiting to be cuddled and loved. Or puppies, maybe. Or gin martinis. Or a rack of lamb.
They look like everything good in the world.
