Yeah, well, hindsight is 20-20, isn't it?

One night last week I was hitting the heavy bag in the living room and Scout, who takes Chinese, wanted to study her numbers for a test coming up.

Huffing and puffing, I set her up on YouTube, with a video of a woman counting in Chinese. I told her to click on other Chinese counting videos that came up.

It wasn't until the next morning that thought to I ask her if the YouTube videos had been helpful.

"No," she said. "At first they weren't helpful because she only counted to ten. Then they started really not being helpful, because all of a sudden it was all a bunch of private stuff, like boobs!"

Desperately trying to hold it together, I asked her what she did when she saw the boobs.

"I closed the computer and started doing my math."
